The University of Toronto takes pride in being one of the top research-intensive universities in the world, with a strong desire to invent and innovate. It is an established public research university. St. George (Downtown) Campus, Mississauga Campus, and Scarborough Campus are the three campuses of the University of Toronto.

Application requirements:

International students must have satisfactory academic credentials with a GPA of 3.0 on 4.0 (83-86 percent) to be admitted to the University of Toronto. LOR for Canada, standardized test scores, and English proficiency test scores are also required as additional supporting documents. Students having an all-India Senior School Certificate (issued by CBSE) or an Indian School Certificate are also accepted (awarded by CISCE).

 

University of Toronto, Mississauga Programs

The university provides combination degree programs in addition to bachelor’s and master’s degrees. The programs are separated into 12 categories.

There are nearly 700 undergraduate programs available. Some dual specialization courses need both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science.

There are nine graduate departments in the university. The university offers approximately 200 graduate degrees, including some unique contemporary courses such as a Master of Arts in Ministry and Spirituality and a Master of Divinity.

MBiotech, MMPA, MMI, MSc. BMC, MS in sustainability management, and MFAcc are among the institute’s six professional programs.

The cost of tuition fees at the University of Toronto  Mississauga ranges from 11,420 to 66,110 Canadian dollars. This cost ranges from 6.79 to 39.34 lakh INR for an Indian student.

Scholarships: The institution provides international students with a number of scholarships ranging from $20,000 to $180,000 CAD.

With a 17 percent acceptance rate, the university has extremely selective entrance criteria. The university’s cultural richness is enhanced by students from 130 different nations.

The university is placed 25th in the QS World University Rankings for 2021. This is a significant improvement above its previous ranking of 29 in 2020. The University of Toronto is placed 18 in the Times Higher Education University Rankings for 2020 and 2021. Previously, the university was ranked 21st.

With a 92 percent employment rate, the University assures its graduates some of the highest-paying professions in Canada, with average starting salaries ranging from 33,000 to 90,000 CAD.
